Worst Day Ever
It all started with a terrible case of bedhead hair. I couldn't figure it to look right. As I was dashing out the door, I stumbled and landed all over myself. To make matters worse, I was extremely behind schedule for work.

A series/chain/cascade of unfortunate/awful/disastrous events unfolded/occurred/piled on top each other, leaving me feeling like I was in a nightmare/horror movie/comedy of errors. It's the kind of situation where you just want to run away and hide.
